ORIGINAL PHOTO :

1. Open your photo in Photoshop, of course (File > New)
2. Then prepare your Photoshop Action, you can get it free at DeviantArt or google it. In this example, I am using Miss Never Stock’s Forest Actions. Click “Download” and save it somewhere (for example My Documents). Then go to your Photoshop (I am using Photoshop CS3), and load your Action window. If you can’t see your action window, go to Window > Action / Alt + F9. And click the drop down button which I marked it with red.
   
3. And the window will pop up, from there, click Load Action. You’ll see a new window pop up, That’s where you load your action. Go to the place where you save your downloaded file.
   
4. And if you succeed to load your action, it will appear in the action box like this one bellow (marked with red) :
   

   You can see there’re 5 actions : dark, fairytale, sunset, twilight, ghost. Let’s try one of them, for example FAIRYTALE. Click on the name, and press PLAY button (marked with Blue). And voila! Your image will automatically transform into a fairytale look

Note:
Not all actions work perfect in your photo. Sometimes they might produce a weird effect on your photo, so keep playing with those actions until you satisfied

Yesterday, I found something cool on deviantart.com. I was browsing for Photoshop Brushes, and I got bored, then started looking for different sections. And I arrived at this page called “Photoshop Actions” I only used photoshop actions around 1-2 times in the old times, and after that I never touch it again because my work doesn’t require image touching process. Okay… what makes “PS Action” cool is you do not need to do the same process for other images over and over again, you only need to save 1 action, and repeat that action for other images. Buttttt … because I’m lazy to play with curves, colors, etc … DA is your source to find free PS action. You can turn green leaves into autumn-like. nuff said. Let’s see the actions in examples bellow.
